Dark and mafia romance
Morally gray heroes, forced proximity and plenty of heat. Lila Herron's Any Means Necessary and Lucy Smoke's Married to the Mafia have been among our most-packed picks.

What readers get in a spicy box
Spicy romantasy
Dragons, fae and enemies to lovers, with open doors. Think Juliette Cross's Firebird and Callie Hart's Quicksilver.
Your limits, respected
Dark romance isn't for everyone, and dark isn't one thing. Tell us your hard no's in your note; a person reads it before picking anything.
How it works
- Pick your box. Choose 3, 4, 5 or 6 books, monthly or just once.
- Pick at least four genres. Spicy / Dark Romance is already chosen for you; add three more you enjoy.
- Tell your curator about you. Favorite authors, books you own, anything to skip. A real person reads it.

Questions
How do I keep certain themes out of my box?
Write them in your curator note, as plainly as you like (for example: no cheating, no non-consent, no violence against animals). A real person reads every note before choosing your books.
Is the whole box spicy romance?
Only if you want it to be. Your box follows every genre you pick, and you pick at least four, so ask for it heavy on dark romance in your curator note if that is what you love.
Do I have to pick other genres?
Every reader picks at least four genres. Spicy readers often add Romance, Fantasy and Thriller; tell us if you want your box heavy on spice.
Is this for adults only?
Yes. Our Spicy / Dark Romance genre is for adult readers and includes explicit content. If you'd rather keep things sweet, pick Romance only and say so in your note.
