A1: We rescue books from large retailers like Target and Barnes & Noble. These books are customer returns, which means they're often in like-new, great, or good condition. Retailers like these only sell brand-new books, so returns often head straight to recycling centers or landfills. That’s where we step in! When you receive your book box, you’re not only diving into a fantastic story but also saving these books from an untimely end. Feel good knowing you're giving them a second chance!
A2: We require a 3-genre minimum for our adult mystery boxes. Why? Because it ensures we have enough inventory for everyone to enjoy, and it opens the door to discovering new genres you may have never explored before. You might just stumble upon your next favorite book in a genre you hadn’t considered!
A3: Once you place your order (say, on the 15th of the month), we’ll start curating your box the very next business day. Processing takes 1–3 business days, and shipping usually takes 3–5 business days. If you’re a subscriber, we’ll start preparing your next box around the 15th of each month, like clockwork.
